I feel like people are very ignorant about that part of this, about why that matters. I think it matters for so many different reasons. How do you shoot an unarmed woman in the back multiple times? There is no justification. accountability begins with acknowledgment. And it begins with identifying the names of the officers that were involved in my sister's death. It involves transparency. It involves those that were culpable to be held accountable for their actions No one has had to explain their actions.
