The Tides Never Turned for Lincoln
Lincoln was hated by half the country of minister during a civil war but he wasn't all that popular in the north. As he makes his journey by training the DC he's having to hide and even dress like a woman at one point be covered up by his body garden. The tide really didn't turn until his death people began to realize that this was our redeemer president, says historian David Frum.
