The Yellow Emperor
The yellow emperor came from around Chufu, a city in Shandong province later made sacred as the birthplace of Confucius. Much of what is credited to Fuxi and Shandong is also credited to the yellow emperor. He's considered by some scholars to be one of the five emperors rather than one of the three sovereigns. His tomb is about two and a half hours north of Xi'an up the G-210 highway.
