Is She a Threat to Public Safety?
Police don't think she's a risk to the public or anything, nor do they think she'll run. The crown holds their ground on the murder charge and says that they'll let the jury decide. Billy's former common law spouse tells a very similar story about her experience. During the month long trial, which begins in november 19 82, the jury hears from a slegh of witnesses who tell the court about the extent of violence and abuse jane and daron both lived through until that fateful night in march.
