Scalability

An application designed for 1000 concurrent users is probably not going to handle an order of magnitude jump up to 10,000 concurrent users without any changes. It's often necessary to kind of rethink your architecture a little bit every time your load is significantly increased. So if you can say like we've got a big sale coming up and we expect 10 times more traffic, then you know trouble time.
