Amazon didn't turn a profit until 2002. Jeff Bezels, the founder of Amazon, he was a 50% owner of pet.com,. But at Amazon, he wanted to sell everything. And unlike the massive mount spent on marketing that I mentioned with, you know, these other companies, he ran a very tight ship. So, Amazon came out as a winner from the pet.com crash and has now one of the biggest e-retailers in the world.
