Was the War as Civilized as We're Led to Believe?
Theatre has got a reputation for being less brutal than, say, the eastern front or the pacific war. But was it really that civilized inq marks? I've thought about this pretty deeply while ago and i looked in some depth for examples of barbarity caught up in the censreship. Some race of soldiers write home to their loved ones. And they tend to be very positive about their german captures. They sayhat they're treated m civilly, m, with respect, that they are looked after. Now, they're less positive about the italians, m and i think probably the italians do treat prisoners less well.
