Coppicing Trees in the Northern Hemisphere

Birches, poplars, willows, hackberries and mulberries are all coppicing species that are also great inoculation species for mushrooms. The rosatea, which includes apples and a bunch of other fruits, will reduce their fruit load and coppice poorly. These are more sustainable options, meaning you can utilize every part of your site in a diverse way. For me, because of the size of my landscape, i have all my trees spaced 15 feet apart in every direction.
