The GOP has decided to basically embrace a rerun of the, you know, the gay panic of the 80s that some of us are unfortunately old enough to remember. All they've done is take the same playbook and keep it with with gay people and then expand it to trans people. And both sorts of people should be allowed to exist and thrive in society. It's a recipe for discrimination and just gonna hurt a lot of people.
