The Virtues of Life

Meekness, temperance, modesty and humility are virtues that should color all the deeds that we perform throughout our life. There are virtues that are more excellent than these, but the use of them is more necessary. A bishop has his particular virtues, as does a prince, a soldier, a married woman and a widow. Although all should possess all the virtues, nonetheless, all are not bound to exercise them equally.
