How to Balance Clonal and Natural Selection

The population is clonal even though it's not genetically homogeneous, right? True. But if you take samples of the same species from 10 different lakes and cool them, then and grow that up, then that's obviously not clonal. And so, yeah, that can be a real balancing act. It's interesting that they didn't decide to mutagenize the population. That's another approach you could take, right? Yeah, exactly right.
