The People of Risen Stick Together
Kristen and Cherish became friends when they were 13 and 16 years old. The two lived on the same road in Risen, a small town where everyone knows each other. They would go fishing together as well as do donuts in the mud with their grandmother's car. On December 3, just days before Cherish's birthday, she texted Kristen but then went home early to spend time with her grandma. She was going to get a baby bed for his first birthday.
