How to Build a Soundproof Studio

When you build a soundproof studio, it's recommended to use two layers of five eighths inch drywall for your walls and ceilings. And what you can do as a little trick is take something that is the same thickness or ideally, really it needs to be the same mass or weight as the 5-inch drywall. If you get wood like plywood, you can put that first layer of drywall could be plywood instead of drywall. So that's kind of a little hint or trick that is really something that is a good idea for most studios.
