Daniel: I think for a lot of people, there's his tension where, on one hand, we need to change people's behavior. There's a whole literature that says that if you don't have enforcement, you can't maintain collective action. But again, does enforcement crowd out intrinsic motivations to comply and co operate? And i know you have this paper, and it's one of the ones i saw cited in the book that you wrote about self termination theory.
