At its most basic, a family dynasty is just a reflection of all families. I think it's partly a universe, the universality of family that we all feel familiar with. Another part of family life and clan life is that in situations where states have failed to deliver justice and protection, people have turned to family to their clans. The failure of states and distrust in regular structures is causing a huge return to family life.
