Ripple and Coinbase's Chances of Settlement Increased by the SEC's Major Questions Doctrine
Ripple ripple needs to fight and they're willing to go all the way to scotus which is where i think they have a pretty good chance using the major questions doctrine. The settlement can't just be okay we'll list everything and comply with the securities law because there's a hundred items that just don't apply. To really settle the SEC has to commit to some adaptive rulemaking, exemptive relief,. guidance to make it possible to actually list this stuff.
