Cyber Security - What's Up With Them?
Microsof says it's under no illusions that nation states, including russia, are going to suddenly revert to good behavior in ciber space. It does think prospective targets aren't as helpless as they once may have been. The s v r's recent approach doesn't involve any exotic zero days or clever exploitation of sofware vulnerabilities. They've used well known techniques like word spray and fishing to steal legitimate credentials and gain privileged access.
