Why Do People Get Married in Their Twenties?
The average age for marriage in the medieval period is in one's twenties. You can kind of get married from Menarck, but it requires parental consent. It's usually just going to be a religious service until something else happens. The great majority of people who were just average people get married in their twenties because that's what's normal.
