Fochard's New Approach to Tooth Care

People all over the world thought that toothache was down to a little worm called a tooth worm. Fochard saw this worm as a problem, a major problem in tooth care and he set out to find it. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find it even with a microscope. He concluded that they didn't exist. And even if they did, they probably had nothing to do with toothache, he thought. That's sort of my number one most influential scientific discovery that the tooth worm doesn't exist.
