How Did the First World War Affect George?

Many of the ntions that britain was fighting against had monarchs that had close blood ties with george. Was that a strain on him? Or were those family ties really only ones of blood that didn't extend to a personal relationship? Oh, i think the first world war was incredibly stressful from that point of view for george. I mean, you know, on's enemy er was m germany. And of course, the kaiser was george's first cousin, george's rather difficult first cousin.
