The Audacity of the Court System
Harvey was sentenced to death for the murder of a man in alcatraz. He appealed his sentence, and after two days he won. The appeals court deemed his confession inadmissible as it would be double jeopardy. Harvey served nine years before being paroled at 32-years-old. While out on parole, he gets another six years in federal prison,. but he only serves four. So thes guy never really serves his full sentence, like ever.
