White freedom is the idea that in order to be truly free, you have to be white. The statue of liberty has often been seen as a monument that exemplified welcoming emigrants. What i argue is that what happens to spacegi the emigrants are increasingly seen as white and their children also become white. And the statue of liberty could embrace those people because they have become white. I mean, that is how it's betrayed to day, welcoming people to the united states.
