The Dog Fucking of San Francisco

The last book I read was about the British spy, Kim Filby, who defected to the Russians at the end of the Cold War. And it was written from the point of view of all his friends who never knew that he was like a double agent. It made me realize why San Francisco was so fated by everybody. Why New York is a fucking 10 times the city San Francisco is. The jazz thing. And that's where all the jazz hipsters were in San Francisco.
