Jack Smith's Indictment of President Trump

Timothy Stanley: I think he was afraid that Fannie Willis was going to beat him to the punch. He thinks they rushed in there so that they could be first to file and maybe convince Fannie Willis not to go forward with an ill-advised indictment. His personal theory is, yeah, I know a lot of people are saying did it to cover Hunter Biden. But just two minutes prior to that, he accused the president of lying. So really, he was making more of an emotional appeal, in my opinion, than a fact-based announcement.
