The Importance of Using a Graphic Organizer
In an area model, a square is used to find the product of factors. In this case, we're looking for the total product of 18 by 25. We have these partial products in each of these squares. And then the kids add those up together. But what it's not is an area model. It's not representing area because you drew a square. What could be a better way?
