Pete teal is a major Republican donor. He has so far refused to spend money in this year's midterm elections. The GOP establishment feels betrayed by him for putting up candidates they don't think are electable, says John Avlon. But if things go badly and the republican party loses control of the senate, Teal could be seen as having done it on his own with little help from other donors.
