Poton Regrets Ukraine

Putin wants to restore a soviet type sphere of influence in post-soviets Europe. Can he achieve that by what he's doing? By it, he's kind of salamy tactics. This is not a cake walk. I mean, you would have substantial casualties o violence. But i think this will be a much more difficult win for pot on the other hand. And if there were to be a full scale invasion, which i think of us believe maybe isn't imminent or may not happen, then it would be extremely costly for russia.
