The Jungworren - The PVA, or the People's Volunteer Army

Mao put Joe in charge. Lin Bia was called upon to lead the forces into battle, but as the story goes, he made a bunch of excuses and the job got passed to Pangdaoi. Joe called for 260,000 soldiers to be based along the Yalu River. All were under Pang's command. This group, consisting of PLA soldiers, then became known as the PVA, or the People's Volunteer Army. The Jungworren mean Jiruan Jun.
