King Susharma attacked Virat's kingdom and raided his cattle farm. Duryodhana said, Why bother about the Pandavas? Let them go to hell. I suggest we split our army and attack Matsya from different directions. That will bewilder Virat's weakened army and we will win with ease. On the seventh day of the month, Susharma amassed his huge army at the south-east border of the Matsya kingdom.
