Runji Singi - The Greatest Indian Cricketer of the Late Nineteenth Century
Runji singi was probably the most visible indian to the wider british empire. He helped shape some of the more positive or negative stereotypes about indians, and they don't really have to be coached. Indians are very good when they work individually, but as a team, they are very difficult to maintain. So that also translated into how british administration rolled out in early twentieth India.
