When you got into data, it wasn't really called data back then. It was just maybe doing your job that you're hired to do. And as a result, I think the financial field has always been pretty, pretty data driven. But if you actually think about the kinds of decisions that are made off of Excel models, I would argue that they may be more impactful than machine learning models in terms of decision making.
