The Global Nuclear Non-Proliferation Regime
The book, the scope of the book is trying to understand the origins of what scholars and practitioners called the Global Nuclear Non-proliferation regime. It was a story that I knew sort of where I wanted to end, I wanted to take it through the opening for signature and entry into force of the NPTN Treaty. But I also wanted to tell that story as kind of the latest in a sequence of nuclear treaties that were negotiated and opened for signature in the 1960s. And so, in essence, I hope that this book makes the compelling argument that in order to understand the nuclear revolution and its implications, we also have to understand what I describe as a nuclear counter-revolution by
