Orpheus - The Best Poet, Song Writer and Musician
Orpheus was the best poet, song writer and musician to have ever existed. He married eurytice, an oak nymph and one of the daughters of apollo. They lived for years outside of tempe, and it looked like orpheus would have one of those rare happy endings for a greek hero. Unfortunately, the fates had other plans. One day, eurydisce was walking back from town. She could hear the sounds of her husband's lyre echoing through the valley outside their home. A stranger stopped right next to her as he played his lyre; she smiled and nodded but he just looked at her as he passed.
