The Benefits of a Beneficial Mutation

There is no such thing as a beneficial mutation. Most mutations are deleterious because there are random accidental changes in an organism you know. Insecticide resistance is one of them. Anytime an organism responds to a human imposed change in their environment herbicides and insecticides, poisons, and stumped into the environment. The famous case is the pepper moth that used to be white and all of a sudden the environment became black because of industrial suck.
