High VMCU vs EMQX Brokers?

The two gold standards in MQTT brokers out there right now, you have high VMCU and EMQX. There is a real concern about EMQX and the China connection. So what I did was I just threw both of that aside and I benchmarked the two platforms. And in the end, they were both pretty close.
