The Unresolved Northern Ireland Debate
25 years after the Good Friday Agreement, one issue remains unresolved. That is whether or not Northern Ireland should remain part of the United Kingdom. I don't really see what is going to change now, and it's disappointing 25 years on that we're still standing beside a wall dividing the two communities. The most pressing debate is the fact that they are NHS, it's on its knees. It's the most dangerous place in Western Europe to be a woman. Our rate is domestic violence, like through the roof, and we don't have a storm in it that can make decisions.
