The Missouri Chimpanzee
We're talking about the curious and troubling case of a missouri chimp named tonka. He was living in festus, at the missouri primate foundation. The judge ordered that he be handed over to an animal sanctuary in florida. That never happened. And the person who now owns, or own to tonka at that point, tania haddok, is saying that tonka died. And that's the reason she hadn't turned him over. We do need to take a quick break, but we'll be back shortly to continue this conversation with jerred goodman.
