Exodus - The Story of Joseph

The story of joseph is kind of a prologue to exodus. He was working with his brothers, who were envious of him cause his father recognized in JOSEPH gifts and moral qualities pre eminent over those of the other children. They attacked him and threw him into a pit. And what we see is a canaanite influence. Now god will act to separate his people from that canaanites influence by putting them in another land while the iniquity of the canaanites becomes full.
