Top gun maverick is a recent exception, because i think they correctly anticipated that it was going to absolutely crush it at the box office. One thing i found really interesting about paramount plus is that it's not going as hard on the content as other platforms are. In 20 22, we saw amazon acquire m g m studios for eight and a half billion. What the hell is paramount doing here? They have a totally different strategy, it seems, on the content front. And while i applaud paramount plus for not spending a ton on content and trying to focus on profitability and free cash flow, i just think it's going to be so hard to compete with the likes of neflix
