How to Deal With Heat in a Rich Country
In Athens, even though it's kind of like at the bottom of the global north, you can find ways to try and adapt to heat. But air conditioning is not going to be a solution because it actually pumps hot air out to the public space. By 2050, we're going to have three times as much demand for electricity that is related to cooling as living spaces. We need to put in solutions that are generally cooling the city.
