The Russian Civil Society Is Not Healthy

I don't believe that it can be much worse than what we're already seeing in Russia. The last independent TV channel in Russia readily available to the majority of the population was closed down by the regime in 2003. We are also talking about a society that has not had access to free and independent elections since 2003 as well. Everyone out there wants to see Russia on its knees and want to see Russia's demise. An extremely atomized, depoliticated society that believes that the only way to survive this is to keep quiet and somehow fight for survival.
