The Rise of Charitism
In 1838 not everyone was benefiting from much more than a basic education. Charitism relied heavily on print culture and so the wider population were able to access this very important print culture. So people accessed the messages of charitism through bill posting, pamphlet hearing,. banners at meetings in particular which carried very crisp messages.
