How Did You Escape to Kurdistan?
"We were 14 people in a small car. We tried to run and after 10 minutes, they arrived at my village," she says. "All my other relatives, 70 people were taken. And actually they were taken by the neighbors who had colluded with them." The family was able to get some gas but then lost contact with their loved ones. They eventually made it to Turkey where they are living in a refugee camp.
