Is There a Perfectionism in Your Book?
I want to talk about the topic of perfectionism in your book, because Reed seems to be so earnest and so goal-oriented on becoming the ideal activist. And with his mother, she is kind of reluctant to share her experience as an activist in the 80s because she doesn't have the perfect answers. I think there is something really like wonderful and energizing about Reed's idealism. But he has to move a little bit from his head down to his heart and to a more embodied understanding of what it means to affect change.
