The Devastating Impact of Heroin on Kurt and Courtney
Both Kurt and Courtney used heroin heavily throughout the course of their relationship. In one case, while waiting to perform on Saturday Night Live, Kurt was so visibly strung out backstage that his bandmates worried he wouldn't be able to perform. The couple got married in a small ceremony in Hawaii four days after Kurt's 25th birthday.
