The First Amendment - Is There an Incitement Case?
i don't see how he cannot be charged with incitement. I mean, none of it would have happened, period, if he didn't call everybody to do exactly what they did. There is no other explanation but to bring charges. i think there are a lot of other ways in which the government is responding to what happened on january sixth that are not bringing criminal cases against individuals. The committee's work is not meant to be to build a criminal case. It may assist in that, but do j is perfectly capable of building its own criminal case. They may be getting some useful things from the committee, primarily in the form of political support for the idea, perhaps even factual support
