Congressman Gus Bill Arrakis of Florida asked TikTok CEO Allen Chu if he has full responsibility for the algorithms used by his company to prioritize content. "Mr. Chu, please, your technology is literally leading to death," Mr. Arrakis said. 'We do take these issues very seriously,' says founder and chief executive officer Tim Leiweke. "'There's nothing that you can say that will bring their child back' ... I don't think there's anything more powerful than hearing from grieving parents"
