Trooper Harold Wilson said all of a sudden hell broke loose and that's the joke in action. Trooper James Donovan says officers used to get issued with a bottle of whiskey every now and again. Enn black had a bottle he used to share with his crew as it started to catch fire. As a British soldier for do anything to get a drink, it could have blown up at any time. What does things like this tell us about the comradery, relationships and the kind of morale amongst the regiment?
