The Real Dangers of Sorry
The real danger here is exactly the example you described your friend when you were a teenager. You don't want it to just be the same thing as if just saying, oh, or, oh, okay, I'm this for another day but yeah. Don't use it as a filler word, but definitely, you know, it takes empathy. It takes confidence to open up and say, oh, I think I might have, that might have not gone over the right way. That kind of conversation opening that up shows respect and confidence.
