Why Is the Vix Index Now Below 20?
The vix index now is below 20, this is the first time it's been there or four months. If inflation is easing because demand is falling, why would equity investors be excited about that? The other factor in terms of a why equities are getting a little bit of a bit here is also their positioning. A lot of people still underweight equities, or at least underweight some of the longer duration equities.
